Her venture Minimal Indian reflects her rich knowledge of design and her deep experience in the field. She believes in simplistic design sensibilities, harboring an eternal love for ceramics and textiles.
Founded in 2019, Minimal Indian is an outcome of her desire to celebrate handmade artisanal products and the art of minimalism. Born out of her sheer passion for art, textiles, and traditional Indian crafts, the core essence of her products is to re-imagine the old-world charm through the simplicity of designs and intricacy of patterns. As the name suggests, being minimal is integral to her brand philosophy. Creating her very own patterns and motifs, she enjoys the entire process of creating something beautiful, meaningful, and nostalgic. Timeless elegance meeting authentic handcrafted artistry, her pieces carry the memory of a simpler time. These products are created for those who believe in the idea of 'less is more'.
"I have always valued the beauty of old-world charm and embraced minimal living. Minimal Indian celebrates these two philosophies, blending the concepts of slow living with my passion for art, design, and traditional Indian crafts."
The design story draws inspiration from travel tales, local crafts, Indian households, and picturesque nature-scapes. Every motif begins with a hand-drawn brushstroke on paper. Each piece is meticulously handmade by skilled studio potters, ensuring unique craftsmanship.
Minimal Indian products are food-safe and fired at very high temperatures ensuring strength and durability. They are also dishwasher and microwave-safe, making them easy to use for a modern lifestyle. But most importantly, they stand for something thoughtful, they are artisanal wares worth collecting, to be cherished for years to come!
