Lagavi’s Day at Paris ft. Maison et Objet

Bonjour! As we journeyed back to the French streets and Parisian Cafes, our hearts felt a nostalgic pull amidst coffee and croissants. Where were we headed? Maison et Objet! This bi-annual trade show and exhibit for interior decor, and design is the ultimate destination to connect, learn, and explore. Opening the doors to a world of inspiration, quality, innovation, and a passion for good design, Maison et Objet – French for 'home' and 'object' are two simple words that define this celebration. A place for the design, decor, and lifestyle community to come together, we love conversing with the world (global audience, artisans & designers) and were back for more of their amazing experience. 

Our day started pretty early, and our evenings comprised of walking around, as we love discovering something new and immersing ourselves in the food culture of the beautiful city of Paris. Work was still a huge part but if you need a breather, the city serves unbelievable dining options. After all, the French take their food (and tableware) very seriously!

Paris is the ultimate design destination and we couldn't wait for the Maison days of ideas, experiences, cocktail parties, open houses, workshops, and private tours.

THE EXPERIENCE:

Countless influential experts and visionary leaders in the field of design, and of course the community of enthusiasts, creative minds, and business heads, have made this a one-of-a-kind experience for the last 30 years. Tracking trends, witnessing immersive installations, and looking out for unique craftsmanship, as well as innovative ideas, this event has always left us in awe of the infinite creative possibilities. Each global story comes from the mind and the heart!

THEME OF THE 2024 EDITION:

Terra Cosmos - Why limit yourself to the world when you can go beyond? We literally reached the stars, as artists and designers brought the spiritual realm of the cosmos together with the physical reality of what’s around us. This poetic union played with hues, textures, patterns, reflections, color gradations, and more for a dreamy design future.

A galaxy of imagination blends technology and magic, to bring the essence of the spectacular cosmos into your interior spaces!

THE IDEA:

From materials to forms, the idea is to not just think beyond but also be grounded in the present and be motivated by the past. Innovation, aesthetics, and functionality, together will now not just help us reconnect with the universe but also pave the way for the future of design.

Sustainability was a key factor in the futuristic designs and the amazing skills, iconic ideas, unforgettable talks, and unmatched experiences have made us feel - Nothing is Impossible!

Innovative, immersive, imaginative, and oh-so-intriguing - We come back to where the story of Lagavi found inspiration. And as we entered the venue, we couldnt help but celebrate how far we had come and how excited we were for our vision of the future. Passion is what world-class design shows like this, infuse in us.
